The Art in the Park venue for 2020 will be at the Greymouth High School Gymnasium, High Street Greymouth.
Please read the following information carefully before completing the registration form.
Art in the Park is a two day event open to the public from 10am until 4pm daily. All work must be original or quality hand made objects. It must include some works not previously exhibited at the event and be the artist’s own work. No
You must attend or have your site managed on both days. There is no 'one day' option. If you cannot make it both days consider sharing a stall.
The fee is $90 for both days with no further commission charged. Set up time is Friday 28 February 5:00pm to 7:30pm and Saturday 1 March 7.30am to 9.30am . Set up must be completed by 9.30 a.m on Saturday. Indoor display areas are approximately 4.2m wide x 2m high. Your site will have two panels 2.1m x 2m in a V configuration. The panels are black stained plywood. You will be required to supply all materials required to hang or display your artworks. We will have a couple of power drills available for your use if required. Tables are not available to us at this venue. If tables or plinths are required
you will need to provide your own. Only one indoor site is available per artist. Limited outdoor sites are available. Tables, easels or display stands must not infringe on foot traffic or adjacent stalls. Please keep your stall within 1 metre of your panel/wall unless you have made other arrangements.
Please note: due to OSH restrictions, any fabric used to cover stalls or in display MUST be fire resistant. Natural fibres (wool, cotton etc.) are fine but polyester or any man made fabrics are not permissible. Power points can be provided but must be ordered . Any leads or electrical equipment you bring must have a current certificate of compliance.
Registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE except in the event that registration is declined. The committee reserves the right to ensure first time exhibitor's work is deemed suitable for exhibition. If you are a first time exhibitor please provide electronic photographs of your work prior to registering. Eftpos will be available on site for purchases only – no cash out available. Any purchases using this facility will be deposited as soon as possible into the artists nominated bank account.

* Free tea and coffee will be available to artists and helpers. Please bring your own cups/mugs. There will be food available to buy onsite. Wrapping of artworks is provided free of charge.
